Flaxton Social
A very warm welcome from Flaxton’s newly formed social group.
The volunteer group was formed in late March 2023 to address a recommendation arising from the village plan.
The group is intending to organise a variety of special events throughout the forthcoming year and beyond to bring people in the village together to socialise and enjoy themselves. We hope to work alongside the other groups that meet regularly in the village.

| Nicola Austin | Nicola has lived in Flaxton for 7½ years; she runs her own Catering Business and has a background of Event Planning. |
| Terry Boatman | Terry has lived in Flaxton for just over 2 years and was formerly a Nurse. |
| Liz Martindale | Liz has lived in Flaxton for nearly 2 years. She works for the Parish Council as the Clerk. |
| Sheelagh Massey | Sheelagh has lived in the area for over 20 years moving to Flaxton 2½ years ago. |
| Juliet Waters | Juliet has lived in Flaxton for 7½ years. She is a retired primary school teacher and runs a family business. Juliet was co-opted as a councillor on to the Parish Council in May 2022. |
