At the last Parish Council meeting it was agreed that Flaxton will organise an event on the 5th June to share in the Platinum Jubilee celebrations. There is a planning meeting on Thursday 31st March at 7.30pm in the village hall to start to organise this event. Please come along and get involved – everybody welcome.

The next stage of the process is to create a steering group to help develop the plan further. There will be a meeting on Thursday 14th April at 7.30pm in the village hall. Please come along if you’re interested in getting involved in the steering group. If you’re interested but can’t make the meeting, just let me know

The notice of election for Flaxton Parish Council has been put on the noticeboard today.
The Parish Council is responsible for, amongst other things, contributing to the planning process, managing the income of the Parish Council, addressing issues in the village (where possible) and ensuring the Parish Council is operating lawfully. Flaxton Parish council needs 5 councillors who will serve a 5 year term of office from May 2022.
