The police attended the annual village meeting and left some information cards about crime prevention ideas. They can be viewed here: Police 1 Police 2

A Part of History – Flaxton’s German POWs

During and after the Second World War North Yorkshire became a temporary home for German and Italian Prisoners of War.

Flaxton played a part in providing a home and place of work for a few of them.
