FLAXTON GARDENING CLUB – NOVEMBER TALK

This is a reminder that our programme of talks continues on Monday 15th November, when Hilary Dodson returns to speak to us on “Stone Fruit”.   Cherry and plum trees are not the easiest to grow and give a good crop.  Other stone crops that might be of interest are apricots, peaches and nectarines.  Hilary will give us tips and bring jams and juices, some of which may be for sale.  The talk will be in Flaxton Village Hall starting at 7:30pm and be followed by refreshments.

Our Christmas Dinner will be at The Highwayman, Sheriff Hutton on Wednesday 8th December.  You need to let Terry Millett or Pat Wilford know your menu choices.

Annual membership remains £7 per person.  Entrance fees are £1 for members, £3 for non-members.

Thanks, FGC Committee
