Invitation to everyone to celebrate the HARVEST on Sunday 11th October 2026 at 11.00 am

/in /by

There will be a service in church to celebrate the Harvest at 11.00 am on Sunday 11th October 2026, followed by a “bring and share lunch” at 12.00 noon in church. Please feel free to bring whatever you would like to share at table. If you are unable to attend the church service, please do come to the lunch to enjoy good food and a catch up with friends and neighbours.

As in previous years we would very much appreciate donations of non-perishable food which will be given to the Salvation Army. E.g. tins of soup, meat, fruit, custard, rice pudding, pasta, cereals, tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar, jam. Monetary donations also gratefully received.

Goods can be left in the church on the following days:

  • Friday 9th October between 09.30 – 16.00
  • Saturday 10th October between 09.30 – 12.30, church will be locked at 12.30
  • Sunday 11th October from 09.30 – 10.45

If you would like to help decorate the church with flowers/produce, then please come along on Saturday 10th October between 10.00am and 12.00. If that time is not convenient then please leave goods in the church on Friday.

We look forward to seeing you.

Best wishes, members of the Parochial Church Council, St Lawrence Church, Flaxton.
