Neighbourhood Policing Events in Ryedale

Burglars are often opportunistic thieves who prey on homes , looking through insecure doors and windows at night time.

Your local Neighbourhood Policing Team are on hand to help keep you safe , we will be in your area to offer security advice to protect your home, answer any questions or concerns you may have and provide you with FREE light socket timers and shed /window alarms. We will be visible in a central location in each village.

We will be with colleagues from the Community Safety Hub – North Yorkshire Council on the following dates between 4.15pm and 6.15pm. Feel free to come and meet us!

Our dates/locations are as follows:-

10/3/25 – Lockton, Mill Bank Road near tea rooms from 4.15pm, Levisham, Braygate Road near village hall from 5:15pm

25/3/25 – Sand Hutton, Main Street near phone box from 4:15pm, Claxton Whinny Lane near to junction of Main Street from 5:15pm

27/3/25 – Rillington High Street from 4:15-5:15 then Staxton Main Street 5:30-6:30

31/3/25 Oswaldkirk (village hall) 4:15-5.15 then Ampleforth (village stores and post office) 5:30-6:30
