The Trees of Flaxton Green – Reports of Talk and Tour

A copy of the talk on the Trees of Flaxton Green, given by Steve Axford at the Flaxton Environment Group AGM on 10 March 2026 is now available The Trees of Flaxton Green.

A dozen people braved the heat in the evening of 23rd of June and enjoyed a tour of the trees, learning about what species they were, when and why they were planted, health issues and management requirements.  There were also discussions about how to age trees, how they grow and appropriate species that might be planted to replace those that reach the end of their life.  Thanks to Steve Axford for leading the walk.
