Road Closure Information

Please see the following information from North Yorkshire County Council regarding a local road closure:

We are having to close Goose Track Lane in Ryedale later this afternoon. This is a well-used route between the villages of West Lilling and Flaxton, just south of Sheriff Hutton. There will be a signed diversion in place and we urge drivers to follow the diversion route. Local residents will have access but just to the hard closure point which is approximately 600 metres east of New Lane in West Lilling where a culvert underneath the road surface has collapsed. Work will be undertaken as soon as possible to repair the culvert and re-open the road. We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this essential closure causes.
